ASCII Members Able to Resell Hosted Exchange 2010 – the Latest Version

Intermedia, the world’s largest Microsoft Exchange hosting provider, today announced an alliance with ASCII Group, Inc. (ASCII), the nation’s oldest and most established community of independent managed service providers, system integrators, and solution providers. ASCII members can now resell Intermedia’s hosted Exchange 2010 – the latest version of Microsoft Exchange – to their customers. Intermedia was the first provider of hosted Exchange 2010, adding intuitive administrative controls, integration outside the Microsoft product ecosystem, and other proprietary features.
Resellers have the option to offer Intermedia's services under their own brand, setting their own pricing and controlling billing – or to operate as affiliates selling Intermedia services directly. "ASCII members looking for a competitive advantage can get one through Intermedia’s reseller program,” says Bob Leibholz, senior vice president of sales and business development, Intermedia. “Hosted Exchange 2010 is the most up-to-date service and our resellers are the only ones in the market bringing it to their clients. Resellers also get Intermedia’s value around Exchange, including the ability to support BlackBerry, iPhone, Droid and other smartphones – as well as sell popular tools for instant messaging and document management."
According to an Osterman Research survey commissioned by Intermedia, nearly 50 percent of the IT decision makers surveyed were on an Exchange 2003 or older platform, presenting ASCII members with a significant opportunity to upgrade prospective customers. Intermedia’s reseller program includes two tracks:
- Private Label: Resellers generate recurring revenue from existing and new customers with high margin Exchange hosting services – all under their own brand – while Intermedia maintains, monitors and upgrades all hardware and software.
- Affiliate: Resellers that prefer to promote Intermedia’s branded solutions can earn a one-time or recurring commission for each sale they make.
All resellers can sell Intermedia’s full suite of hosted communications and collaboration software, including Office Communications Server 2007, SharePoint and both Exchange 2010 and Exchange 2007. Intermedia enables resellers to sell not only Microsoft products, but a full ecosystem of related offerings including full support for BlackBerry Enterprise Server, fax lines and more.
