Intermedia Announces Australian Data Centre and Local Market Support

As part of its global expansion into Australia and New Zealand, Intermedia opens local data centre and enters into service agreement with Manage Protect to better support regional presence

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., May 11, 2016—Following the expansion of its global presence into Australia and New Zealand (ANZ), Intermedia, a leading provider of cloud IT services, today announces the opening of a new local data centre in Sydney, featuring Microsoft® Exchange 2016, Skype for Business® and other critical services.

In addition to the rollout of its new Sydney data centre, Intermedia has joined forces with leading Australian cloud distributor, Manage Protect. Under this partnership, Manage Protect will manage and support Intermedia’s growing ANZ partner base. Key benefits of this partnership include:

Bob Leibholz, SVP of Business Development at Intermedia, says: “Keeping true to our Worry-Free Experience™ commitment, it made perfect sense to partner with a leader like Manage Protect. This partnership and the growth of our data centre network serve as testament to our confidence in the Australian market. With 12 data centres worldwide and over a million paid users, Intermedia is well-positioned to continue expanding our global reach while delivering premium localised support to our valued partners.”

Local support presents greater opportunities for partners
