  • Escalation to a designated phone number assigned to a:

    • Queue
    • Hunt group
    • Live agent (Contact Center only)

If the AI Agent cannot address the request or the caller asks to speak with a human, the system automatically escalates the call to the configured destination to ensure the caller reaches the appropriate next step.

AI Agent | Receptionist enhances the customer experience from the first point of contact.

By providing immediate responses and reducing wait times, it minimizes frustration caused by missed calls or long holds. Callers are directed quickly to the information or person they need, helping improve satisfaction and overall experience.

AI Agent | Receptionist uses the business information and FAQs entered during setup in AI Builder.

This includes details such as business hours, services, policies, pricing, and any custom FAQ content provided by the business.

During Open Beta, the agent does not pull data from external websites, CRMs, or knowledge bases. It relies only on the information configured directly in AI Builder.

If the AI Agent receives a question it cannot answer or does not recognize, it activates its escalation behavior.

Depending on the situation, the agent may inform the caller that the information is unavailable or automatically trigger an escalation to a designated destination.

If the AI Agent cannot fulfill the caller's request, the caller asks for a human, or the conversation becomes unproductive, the AI Agent automatically initiates an escalation.

The call is routed to the phone number configured by the account administrator in the Escalation section of the AI Agent settings.

Administrators can assign this number to a live agent, call queue, hunt group, or another designated destination.
