Virtual ‘watch parties’ hosted by Major League Soccer’s San Jose Earthquakes on Intermedia’s AnyMeeting video conferencing platform will put fans right in the stadium to cheer for the Quakes at each home match

The San Jose Earthquakes, in partnership with Intermedia, today announced a unique way to bring fans directly into Earthquakes Stadium to support their team during gameplay. Powered by Intermedia’s AnyMeeting video conferencing platform, the Earthquakes will feature fans’ virtual watch parties right on the stadium jumbotron for players to see and hear the high-energy spirit that the players appreciate.

The Earthquakes officially started hosting virtual watch parties on Intermedia’s AnyMeeting video conferencing platform with the home matchup against the Portland Timbers on August 26th. Season ticket holders, along with other select groups will be eligible to have their at-home watch parties displayed on the jumbotron at Earthquakes Stadium during future live game broadcasts, a momentous experience for the Quakes and Major League Soccer as it brings fans together again to experience the excitement of live soccer in San Jose.
