Utilizing Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync, Intermedia is able to configure the new Motorola Droid as well as Palm Treo, Motorola Q, T-Mobile Dash, Samsung Blackjack and the iPhone so users can take full advantage of the same Enterprise-grade Exchange services they are used to in the office - including email, calendars, tasks and instant messaging.

"It is imperative for many knowledge workers and on-the-go employees to be able to work remotely with the same Enterprise-grade Exchange services they have in the office," says Jonathan McCormick, chief operating officer, Intermedia. "With the varying devices on the market, users can have their pick and still have complete support through our hosted Exchange solution."

Intermedia also fully supports BlackBerry® Wireless Solution hosting for hosted Exchange. The company provides users with BlackBerry® Enterprise Solutions (BES) connectivity - for true wireless "push" email. Customers get two-way wireless synchronization of email, calendar, contacts and tasks.

Available on the company's hosted Exchange 2007 and new hosted Exchange 2010 offering, Intermedia's HostPilot® Control Panel enables companies to retain Enterprise-grade security and control over their mobile devices. For instance, in the event a user loses his or her BlackBerry® smartphone, a company can remotely erase the device's data with just a few clicks.
