Intermedia becomes the first independent provider to offer Hosted Exchange 2016, integrating latest best-of-breed services into its Office in the Cloud™

Mountain View, CA – October 1, 2015—Intermedia, a one-stop shop for cloud IT services and the world’s largest independent provider of Hosted Microsoft® Exchange, announces the availability of Hosted Exchange 2016, which joins the newly-released Office 2016 suite powered by Office 365™ in Intermedia’s Office in the Cloud™.
Microsoft released Exchange Server 2016 earlier today and released the Office 2016 suite last week. Intermedia is the first independent provider to offer Hosted Exchange 2016, announcing its availability to new customers immediately upon Microsoft publicly releasing the service.

As of today, Exchange 2016 and the Office 2016 suite are integrated with Intermedia services that include compliant archiving, email encryption, Skype® for Business, SecuriSync® file sharing and backup, Hosted PBX, AppID single sign-on and many others. Hosted Exchange 2016 is also available in a dedicated Private Cloud deployment for customers of 500 seats and above.
These new services come on the heels of a number of other recent Intermedia innovations, including:
- Adding robust backup features to SecuriSync, transforming it into a 2-in-1 file collaboration and backup solution
- Unveiling VoIP Scout, a uniquely rigorous network testing solution used by partners to forecast and eliminate quality-of-service issues when selling voice services
- Offering Intermedia AppID®, the company’s single sign-on service, free with all Office in the Cloud plans—and, as of October 1, 2015, giving all Intermedia users the opportunity to include an unlimited number of web applications to improve productivity and reduce risks across their entire cloud landscape.
In addition, Intermedia is one of the few companies in the world that enables partners to resell the Office 2016 suite through its private label program, which offers them control over billing, pricing and customer support as well as premium sales, marketing and technical support from Intermedia.
