Providers in the Region Help Propel Partner Program’s Double-Digit Revenue Growth
Intermedia, the global Exchange hosting leader, today announced that technology providers in Latin America can now offer their customers Intermedia's Business Productivity Suite of Microsoft products, including Exchange 2007, Outlook 2007, Office Communications Server 2007 and SharePoint 3.0. Providers are able to offer the service under their own brand, managing it with a private label version of Intermedia's end user control panel - now available in Spanish and English. Intermedia also offers Outlook 2007 in Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese and 14 other languages.
The Latin American expansion comes on the heels of Intermedia's success with a select group of partners in the region. Bob Leibholz, Intermedia's vice president of sales and business development, adds, "With so much opportunity for Exchange hosting in Latin America, our work with select partners has been a spectacular success. They asked us to develop our end user control panel in Spanish, and we delivered. We're committed to helping our partners differentiate and grow their business."
Even during the depths of the recession, Intermedia's partner program has continued its double-digit revenue growth - a trend that accelerated in Q2 2009. Offering Intermedia's hosted services has proven attractive in a down economy because it offers a recurring source of revenue from partners' existing customers, rapid sales cycles, and little administrative overhead.
Intermedia partners include Fortune 500 companies and internationally recognized brands as well as more than 3,500 small and medium-sized businesses - primarily local managed service providers and other technology firms. The profitable 14-year old company hosts over 200,000 premium Microsoft Exchange mailboxes - more than any other hosting provider - and over 400,000 mailboxes overall.
Aimed at the needs of small and medium-sized businesses, Business Productivity Suite is available exclusively from Intermedia. Partners can offer the suite or its individual components, enabling them to tap into strong global demand for Exchange and other collaboration products.
