The Challenge
US Resources’ client, Delta Consulting Group, provides a variety of services including construction claims and management, engineering, forensic accounting, financial and dispute resolution and other services to its clients. The company grew rapidly and now has offices in the Washington Metro area, Miami and Central Florida, San Francisco and Chicago. With the company’s rapid growth, and both US and international clients, communications quickly became of vital importance.
When US Resources won Delta as a managed services client, email had been an on-going issue. The decision was made to move Delta from an on premise exchange solution to an outsourced hosted email provider. While some issues were resolved by making this change there were still problems, primarily around service levels. But, there were also concerns around just how secure the environment was.
US Resources had been looking for a new cloud services/hosted Exchange provider to partner with in order to address the ongoing issues they were experiencing with less reliable email hosting providers.
