Kinetic operates in a collaborative environment to ensure client success. A client team can contain a combination of members from Kinetic’s Orange County, Dallas and New York offices, which can be challenging without the proper collaboration tool. Kinetic's Operations Manager, Luis Salaman, outlined the challenge: “We have three offices that need to share files and documents. Quite often, when working on a client or prospect presentation, revisions or feedback will be needed from all three offices. Everyone needs to access the related files no matter where they are located.”

Salaman had to find a solution that would let employees share and collaborate on important documents regardless of location and even while traveling. They also needed a solution that was enterprise-class with highly available support. “We were using another tool, but it lacked advanced functionality like the integrated Office plugin. There was also no support and no one to call. It wasn’t made for a professional environment,” said Salaman.

Kinetic can now securely back-up, share and collaborate using SecuriSync. “We even use SecuriSync for data rooms where files and documents are stored. When an investment transaction is taking place, we share secure links to important files with different parties, including accountants and attorneys. The ability to assign different permission levels and rights with SecuriSync is critical,” said Salaman.

Office and remote employees can now easily access and contribute to secure work files. “The interface for SecuriSync is very user friendly,” noted Salaman. “Users can access files and use the web and mobile application from anywhere. The iPhone® app is great for quick access of files.”

And Salaman also likes how SecuriSync allows the firm to stay with one vendor. Kinetic can manage all of their Intermedia Office in the Cloud™ services with the HostPilot® control panel. “We considered Dropbox for Business, but I like using a single vendor.”

Simply put by Salaman: “I’m very happy with the product.” And in keeping with the single vendor approach, Kinetic recently migrated its audio conferencing service to Intermedia’s Cloud PBX solution as well. “So far, so good,” says Salaman.
