New Feature Announcement for HostPilot® and the Partner Portal – Two-factor authentication (2FA)
Two-factor authentication (2FA) is one of the best ways to help ensure your HostPilot® or Partner Portal account don’t get hacked. With 2FA enabled, account owners, account contacts and partner admins are required to successfully pass a second identity verification check before being granted access. Make sure to add an extra layer of security by enabling 2FA for your HostPilot or Partner Portal account and protect the main entry point to all Office in the Cloud™ services.
We’ve also made it super easy and implemented push notification as a 2FA authentication method by downloading the Intermedia VeriKey app for iOS or Android™ from the Apple® app or Google Play™ store. Once “Push Notification” is selected and the Verikey app is installed, the user will receive a push notification on their mobile device to allow or deny access.
