Intermedia understands that partner billing can be complicated.  We’re here to make our partners’ lives easier, by bringing more clarity to both the mechanics of billing, as well as more clarity to the billing documents themselves. So we’re launching a two-pronged approach to help you understand the ins and outs of billing:

Billing Training for Partners

Over the next few weeks, Intermedia will be launching an education module “Intermedia Unite Billing” available in our Intermedia University Portal. Partners are encouraged to take this quick half-hour course to get a better understanding of how billing works.

Unite-Certified partners can simply log into the Partner Portal, select Intermedia University, and then search for “Intermedia Unite Billing.”

Clearer billing documents

Clearer Invoice. Partner invoices used to combine pro-rated and full-month charges into a single (possibly confusing) line item on your bill. But now, we will separate these items out on your invoice – and clearly mark the pro-rated portion as a “partial month” charge.

New! Partner-facing Explanation of Charges. This new document shows a full breakdown of the VOICE charges associated with your partner invoice. You’ll also be able to better “match up” the charges that you, as the partner, receive versus the charges that are passed through to your customer. You can find more about the new Reseller’s Explanation of Charges in this Knowledge Base article.

Intermedia has a long-term commitment to both transparency and clarity as it pertains to billing. Keep an eye out for several more enhancements to the training modules, as well as to the bills themselves, that will be rolled out over the coming months.
