Irina Shamkova of Intermedia named one of CRN’s 2017 Women of the Channel and Power 100
This just in: CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has again named Irina Shamkova, Intermedia’s SVP of Product Management, to its prestigious 2017 Women of the Channel list!
Why is this so amazing? The executives who comprise this annual list span the IT channel:
- Vendors
- Distributors
- Solution providers
- Other organizations that figure prominently in the channel ecosystem
Each honoree is recognized for her outstanding leadership, vision, and unique role in driving channel growth and innovation. We are proud to say that Irina has also been selected for this year’s Power 100 list, a subset of CRN’s Women of the Channel.
Mike Gold, Intermedia’s CEO, reflected on Irina’s achievements and told me:
“Irina has been instrumental in designing and driving Intermedia’s channel-friendly product strategy. Her innovative thinking and steadfast commitment to the company over the past 16 years are very much reflected in the broad suite of tightly integrated cloud business applications that we lead with today. As we go deeper with our partners to aid in their success, Irina and her team continue to uncover and create new opportunities for partners that differentiate Intermedia in the market, build customer value, and drive profitability. If anyone deserves to be recognized as one of the true leaders in the channel, it’s Irina.”
During her 16-year tenure at Intermedia, Irina has played an integral role in helping establish our leadership position in the channel. This included expanding our proprietary product portfolio to cover a broad suite of communication, collaboration and email security needs, including Cloud Voice, SecuriSync® backup and file sharing, and Intermedia Email Protection.
And Irina has been instrumental in creating several integrated solutions designed to help partners add value to Microsoft® Office 365®. As a result, partners can sell integrated backup, continuity, Unified Communications, and compliance and security services under their own brand, while still benefiting from Intermedia’s J.D. Power-certified support, Worry-Free migration assistance, and full marketing resources. In addition to designing this robust suite of customizable offerings, she’s also been getting out into the channel community to spread the word.
The 2017 Women of the Channel list will be featured in the June issue of CRN Magazine and online at www.CRN.com/wotc. So check out the complete list of winners and learn more about their amazing work in the channel.
