AWS user? Join our webinar to learn how AWS overcomes security objections to cloud email

We’re big proponents of cloud-based IT, especially cloud-based email. So we were very interested to learn that a lot of AWS customers are still using on-premises Exchange servers. To understand why, we asked Researchscape to conduct a survey.

Researchscape asked 300 AWS buyers about the challenges they face when moving business apps to the cloud and why they are not moving email to AWS. Here’s what they found out for us:

  • 54% of respondents are very interested in deploying Exchange in a third-party managed, single-tenant cloud.
  • The majority (51%) want email on a per user, per month model
  • The top challenges expressed around moving email to the cloud are 1) security 2) data migration and 3) compliance

Here’s what Liam Eagle, Senior Analyst of Service Providers at 451 Research says about Dedicated Exchange on AWS: “Two market leaders have come together to address an unmet need of enterprise customers moving to the cloud.
