About the Role:

Intermedia Procurement leads all procurement activities for the company’s global operations, overseeing over $100M in annual direct and indirect spend.

We are looking for an energetic, collaborative teammate to maximize efficiency and stakeholder satisfaction in procurement functions such as supplier negotiation and management, purchase order management, spend reporting, and travel and expense support. You will interact with team members from Finance, Legal, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Facilities to ensure cost effective and timely delivery of essential goods and services. You will participate in daily business execution as well as aid higher-level strategic initiatives with information and reporting. In short, you’ll support the continued success of Intermedia by supplying first-class procurement services to its internal and external partners.

The ideal candidate is a team player with a solid procurement foundation and strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. This person must be comfortable in a fast-paced organization and with advancing assigned activities to successful completion.

What you will be doing:

  • Negotiate supplier terms such as price, quality of goods, deadlines, expectations, etc.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand details of procurement requirements
  • Partner with Legal to ensure terms are consistent with contractual requirements
  • Identify suppliers of goods and services
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal business partners regarding updates of goods and services
  • Provide RFI and RFP support as requested
  • Create and populate dashboards of supplier metrics, spend, contracts, etc.
  • Produce reports and compile information to support organizational initiatives
  • Assist with vendor qualification and onboarding processes
  • Aid and document cost savings efforts
  • Support expense and travel processes
  • Create purchase requisitions and orders, and reconcile these with supply requests
  • Reconcile invoices to contractual terms to resolve inconsistencies


What you will bring to the role:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field and a minimum of three years’ experience in purchasing, procurement, and/or supply chain management
  • Software-as-as-Service (SaaS), Telecom and/or Unified Communications-as-a-Service (UCaaS) industry experience a plus
  • Self-starting, enthusiastic, entrepreneurial attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse groups
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Solid interpersonal and rapport building abilities
  • Strong time management and planning skills required to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously while adapting to changes in business requirements
  • Technically savvy, including a demonstrated high level of proficiency in the Microsoft suite of productivity applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio with familiarity with enterprise financial systems
  • Familiarity with Coupa and/or NetSuite a plus
